Many serious enthusiasts from all sorts of sports rely on sponsors as well as spending their own well earned cash. However, it's not all one way!

More often than not, a team will nominate themselves a charity to support, raising money through numerous events that they participate in. Insane Creations Drag Racing are no exception and are pleased to say that they support and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. This is more than a local charity, it's a national campaign and a worthwhile cause that is close to Ron personally. After the family member of a close friend died of this terrible disease, the decision was made that the Macmillan would become the teams choice. Shortly after their initial collections, Ron himself became ill with a form of the condition, but continued the season without even mentioning it to the rest of the crew until it was over. Now over his operation, he continues to support Macmillan by collecting for them at all races and show appearances as well as organising coffee mornings and passenger runs in his car for donations. So far Insane Creations Drag Racing has raised nearly £6000.

In 2006, Ron received the new 'Spirit of Street Eliminator', a prestigous award for not only for his consistent "Never say die" attitude, and his 100% attendance, but for his unconditional support and donations towards Macmillan Cancer Support.
